Spring 2005 Collection

We are delighted to announce the launch of EILEEN SHIELDS’ second collection of footwear for Spring 2005. Following the phenomenal success of her premiere Fall 2004 collection, Shields again delivers a richly eclectic collection that features her signature clean modern silhouette combined with a luxurious and often exotic use of materials and warm, sophisticated colors.

Concepts for Spring 2005 include: a series of covered toe sandals; asymmetric, oversized ruffle fronts combined with tiny heels; and oversized and undersized-proportion straps. A number of the new styles will be available decorated with semi-precious stones of rudalated quartz, green garnet, citrine, as well as topaz AB crystals, that have been developed in collaboration with jewelry designer Rachel Abroms.

Materials this season include: natural vachettas; bleached python; vintage rose and punch cashmere kidskin; jade green kidskin; shiny brass and metal trims; mother of pearl metal trims; and cuoietto antique-finished heels and wedges.

Key Silhouettes for EILEEN SHIELDS Spring 2005 are: a clean modern, hi-wedge; flexible, soft ballerina; closed-toe modern hi-sandals; molded leather insole sexy sandals; and sexy tiny-heel round-toes.
